Why The Connection Table?
Vast amounts of resources are being invested into the development of future leaders in rural Australia, yet we are not seeing an adequate conversion of leadership development into representation at decision making tables. This is demonstrated across the country in industry, community and government. In addition, there is a lack of collective visibility and promotion of the alumni of leadership programs. There is no clear central location for those looking to access leadership talent in rural Australia.
Established by Julia Spicer and Jo Palmer, rural advocates with sophisticated networks across industry, government and community, The Connection Table embodies their passion for the development and prosperity of the regions. This network provides the 'what next?' in rural Australians leadership journey.
